How to identify your Regency fireplace

Model number: You can find the model number on your invoice or on the front cover of the installation manual. The model number is also on the serial number decal.

Serial Number Decal Location
You can find the serial number for your unit on the metal decal attached to the unit.

City series: The serial number will be located under the outer access panel cover in front of the gas valve. The outer access panel would need to be removed.

Regency Horizon series: The serial number will be located on the left hand side between the glass frame and outer frame of the firebox. The plate is designed to slide out for easy visibility.

Regency & Excalibur gas fireplaces: the serial number decal is located on a plate behind the Vignette surround, mesh barrier, louver or faceplate. Remove the vignette screen on the surround, mesh barrier, or open the bottom louver on the surround or flush louver.

Energy/Liberty/Regency Horizon gas inserts: the serial number decal is located on a plate behind bottom louver or Vignette surround. Remove the Vignette screen on surround or open bottom louver.

Classic & Hampton Gas Stoves have a serial number decal on the rear panel of the unit.

Ultimate Gas Stoves have a serial number decal on the inside of the drop down pedestal door.

Freestanding Woodstoves: All Regency & Hampton freestanding woodstoves have a Serial Number Decal on the rear panel which lists the model number and serial number.

Wood Inserts: All Regency & Hampton wood inserts have a serial number decal on the bottom front of the stove, under the ashlip. If you have a fan installed, you will need to remove the fan first. Check the manual for your unit for fan removal.
